Quick Rules:
 

1. Adjust deck based on number of players

   1. 4 players - Use the full deck!

   2. 3 players - remove 4 of the 5's (1 of each suit)

   3. 2 players - remove 4 of the 3's, 4's, and 5's (1 of each suit)

2. Shuffle all decks (see special instructions for enemy deck)

3. Deal a permanent ability card to each player

4. Deal cards to each player until they reach maximum hand size (usually 7 unless a permanent ability increases this)

5. Decide who goes first and reveal the first enemy.

   1. Read enemy card out loud (immunity and special ability) then perform any actions (if necessary) starting with the 1st player and going around the table.

6. Play card(s)

   1. Mark down enemy health based on damage dealt

   2. Activate card suit power(s)

7. If enemy is not defeated, discard cards equal or greater than enemy attack value.

8. If enemy is defeated, discard all cards played, collect a scroll card, and reveal the next enemy. 

   1. The person who defeated the enemy goes first against the newly revealed enemy.
